Classroom Decoration Ideas to Cozy Up Your Teacher Desk Area
Hey educators! Ready or not, the kids are on their way and it’s time to start thinking about some classroom decoration ideas you want to try this year!
In a previous post, I reviewed some tips on how to start getting your classroom ready. I also addressed the importance of not spending a lot on this space.
The exception might be, if you are very strict about enforcing the “No Trespassing Rule” behind your desk area. If this is the case, you might want to spend a bit more on your personal items and not leave valuable or breakable items in this area.

Making Your Home Cozy with Snug Spaces
Woohoo!!! School is officially out, and I am clearly so excited! Now I finally have time to get started on the growing list of projects and ideas I have to make my home cozy.
Driving home on a late in May Friday afternoon, I noticed storm clouds to the north.Two things I then longed for: a chocolate-banana smoothie and a very long nap. A slumber during the storm that was fast-approaching. It was one of the best smoothie-induced naps EVER! What a comfy and cozy start to the summer freedom, so familiar to and long awaited by all teachers.
This “comfy and cozy” I refer to is what I continuously strive to create for others. I decorate with creativity and coziness in mind, so that those I share a space with, at home or work, are welcomed and feel like they belong there. While some people seem to be natural at hosting, I am not. I am not an amazing hostess.
